SnapLogic Launches Inside Sales Operation in Boulder
Fast-growing Silicon Valley based cloud software company targets Colorado technology talent to grow its share of the multi-billion dollar integration platform as a service (iPaaS) market
SAN MATEO, Calif. — April 6, 2015 — SnapLogic, the Elastic Integration company, today announced the opening of an office in Boulder, Colorado that will serve as the company’s inside sales headquarters, supporting all North American field sales activities. SnapLogic is recruiting a team of Boulder-area sales development associates to launch the operation, which will be led by SnapLogic senior vice president of global field operations, Jack Kudale.
The new office comes at a time of rapid growth for SnapLogic, a leader in the emerging field of enterprise integration platform as a service (iPaaS). SnapLogic’s Elastic Integration Platform reduces costs and accelerates time-to-value for cloud and big data investments, with over 300 pre-built connectors to popular applications, databases and technologies, including Box, Cloudera, Concur, Eloqua, Hortonworks, MongoDB, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Workday.
The Silicon Valley based company completed a highly successful fiscal year on December 31, 2014, more than tripling bookings over 2013. The company was recently included in the Visionaries Quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise iPaaS and is rapidly expanding its enterprise coverage model to serve the 2000 largest companies in North American markets.
Boulder is an attractive location for startups, given the city’s proximity to talent and its reputation as an innovation center for software. SnapLogic has several open positions for the new office, which is located in downtown Boulder right off the historic Pearl Street Mall, and will also be expanding the office to add employees to the company’s research and development team in the coming months.
“According to the University of Colorado, the state currently ranks in the top five nationally for population growth, employment growth and wage and salary growth, and Boulder is the heart of the region’s high-tech growth and innovation,” says Claudia Imhoff, a Boulder-based analyst and founder of The Boulder Business Intelligence Brain Trust. “Here in Boulder, we’ve got access to stellar talent from several major research labs and the University of Colorado campus along with a vibrant investor and startup community. Given the natural beauty of the area, it’s easy for young companies like SnapLogic to bring bright workers to Boulder, who enjoy both the quality of life and the opportunity to contribute in a fast-growing tech market.”
“Opening our first inside sales office is a natural evolution for SnapLogic as we scale our field operations in response to the increasing demand for our Elastic Integration Platform,” says Kudale, who joined SnapLogic in February and has run successful sales and customer service operations for multiple public software companies. “Having this infrastructure in place will allow us to expand from product to market leadership, and take advantage of Boulder’s increasingly talented and vibrant workforce in the cloud and big data integration markets.”
