SnapLogic Expands Executive Management Team

Cloud Integration Company Appoints Vice President of Engineering, Vice President of Business Development

San Mateo, California – Apr 27, 2011 – SnapLogic, the cloud connection company, today announced that two industry veterans, John Schuster and Eric Monderer, have joined the company’s executive management team. Building on SnapLogic’s early growth in 2011 and its recent expansion into Europe, Schuster joins SnapLogic as Vice President of Engineering and Monderer assumes the role of Vice President of Business Development.

“SnapLogic has captured the market’s attention with our simple cloud integration platform and SnapStore ,” said SnapLogic CEO, Gaurav Dhillon. “The increasing adoption of SaaS applications within the enterprise – from BI and CRM to social media and the like – leaves businesses with a major connectivity challenge. We’ve innovated an open, easy to use connection standard based on the web’s own architecture that lets companies quickly connect these SaaS applications to each other and to on-premise software. The addition of Eric and John to our management team allows us to further accelerate our strategic partnerships with the most widely- used enterprise software brands and continue innovating ways to make SnapLogic the easiest connection solution on the market.”

Schuster joins SnapLogic to oversee research and development efforts in engineering, product strategy, product management, and customer support. Prior to SnapLogic, Schuster was senior director of engineering at Cisco via the acquisition of IronPort. At IronPort, Schuster served as director of platforms, increasing product quality, engineering efficiency, and software release predictability by delivering an aggressive product roadmap. He managed a worldwide organization including teams in Europe and India. Schuster also served as senior manager, software engineering, Network Appliance, where he developed multiple data storage and sharing services. He joined Network Appliance through the acquisition of Internet Middleware Corporation, which he co-founded.

“Solving tomorrow’s connectivity needs doesn’t release us from yesterday’s challenges,” said Schuster. “I look forward to helping SnapLogic develop the easiest cloud connection technology available so that businesses can connect any application to any other application, anywhere.”

With the addition of Monderer, SnapLogic expands its sales and business development organization. Monderer will be responsible for creating and managing strategic partnerships and overseeing partner enablement programs. Before joining SnapLogic, Monderer was the vice president of sales and business development at Nokia via the acquisition of Intellisync. At Intellisync, Monderer drove carrier, OEM and licensing strategy and managed a worldwide team, developing key partnerships in instrumental markets like portals, carriers and infrastructure companies such as IBM, Oracle, Salesforce.com and NetSuite.

“SnapLogic has already attracted some of the biggest SaaS brands to their platform and SnapStore,” said Monderer. ”The opportunity in front of us is tremendous. I look forward to building on these strategic relationships to cultivate interest among software vendors to resell or embed our solution. Forward thinking ISV’s are recognizing that they would rather license connectivity to the wide range of SaaS and on-premise applications their solutions work with than build and maintain it themselves.”
