Last year, SnapLogic launched a quest to identify and recognize organizations who are making a difference in enterprise automation. With our inaugural Enterprise Automation Awards, we scoured the globe and offered customers and partners the opportunity to shine and tell their stories. This year, we once again invited digital innovators to tell us how they are transforming their business using SnapLogic’s Intelligent Automation platform.

Nominations were voted on by customers, partners, and SnapLogic employees – selecting their favorite in each of the five categories. No easy task with so many compelling success stories to choose from. The top finalists by category were then reviewed by this year’s expert judges, Neil Ward-Dutton, VP Automation, Analytics & AI Europe at IDC Europe and Dr. Thomas Otter, General Partner at Acadian Ventures.

To ensure neutrality, each category was evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Strength of evidence: How impactful is the context of the story
  • Spirit of the story: How closely does the narrative align with our brand narrative
  • Results: How impressive or outstanding are their metrics
  • Community recognition: Votes from SnapLogic Community

Enterprise Automation Award

The winner for this category was actually submitted on their behalf by partner IWConnect. This customer is a specialist bank that continuously looks to optimize internal business processes.

With SnapLogic, this customer is able to integrate more than 50 different systems and applications to:

  • Process tens of thousands of payment transactions a month
  • Screen thousands of transactions for risk and fraud

This results in processes that complete more efficiently and with fewer errors, providing a more agile environment where focus can be placed on higher-priority items.

The 2022 winner of the Enterprise Automation Award is Hampshire Trust Bank!

Application Innovation Award

This customer’s primary reason for application integration was to keep their digital transformation program moving while their new ERP implementation was delayed. The existing ERP system had no exposed API and they were challenged to connect 12 critical business functions during three different releases in three different Salesforce Clouds. They needed a more modern and scalable solution that met the needs of growing business

Through SnapLogic, they are now able to integrate their applications with Salesforce, resulting in over half a billion documents processed over the last year. In addition, better, more-accessible data led to:

  • $60K in additional orders by the merchandiser team in the first 2 months based on information and notifications compiled from Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud
  • $112K in additional sales within the first month after launch from 1,000 more units sold every week over the first 3 weeks after launch

The 2022 winner of the Application Innovation Award is WD-40 Company!

Data Innovation Award

The customer in this category needed accurate and timely metrics from multiple applications, but struggled using multiple ETL tools, data refresh schedules, and data integration points. To address these challenges, the customer designed pipelines in SnapLogic so that 80% of data movement between source and target objects is tied to executing pipelines in SnapLogic. This resulted in integrating over 13 applications and capturing key data metrics – a requirement from the internal audit team.

While they have deployed over 3,000 pipelines in SnapLogic, they spend at most a half hour per week to review any exceptions during pipeline processing in production.

The 2022 winner of the Data Innovation Award is Aramark Uniform Services!

Business Impact Award

When a company is in the business of acquiring other businesses, application sprawl is bound to happen. Our winner in this category not only had to handle applications on-premise and in the cloud, but also needed to implement an HR system that could be used across the brands they acquired. At the same time, they had limited IT resources to handle disjointed systems. They needed an easy-to-use, scalable iPaaS solution.

By implementing SnapLogic, the customer figures they saved over $250,000 and achieved a 50% reduction in operating expenditure estimated for an integration platform. Implementation only took two months and required less of IT’s time.

The 2022 winner of the Business Impact Award is Abano Healthcare NZ!

Partner Innovation Award

Our winning partner worked with a customer that spun off from a larger corporation. There was a large set of legacy applications and disparate technologies. The customer wanted to modernize to a cloud platform approach.

By establishing SnapLogic as the customer’s integration platform, they were able to:

  • Migrate over 500+ legacy interfaces
  • Reduce technical complexity by reducing the number of platforms from 4 to 1
  • Reduce license and infrastructure costs by approximately 50%

The 2022 winner of the Partner Innovation Award is Infosys!

Congratulations to all the award recipients on this achievement and for making an impact not only in your organization but in the industry.  We appreciate the time and effort on the part of all our submitters and for sharing your stories. I look forward to future stories of success and next year’s award entries.

Keep on innovating!
