Last week, we hosted an engaging webinar on AgentCreator — formerly known as GenAI App Builder — SnapLogic’s innovative tool for designing, deploying, and managing AI agents with a no-code approach. We had an incredible turnout, with participants from around the globe eager to explore how AI agents can transform their businesses.
We began the talk by sharing our journey from launching our integration copilot, SnapGPT, which has been a game-changer in its own right, accumulating record adoption as a training tool and accelerator for building and managing integrations. With AgentCreator, we can bring the best of generative AI (GenAI) to enterprise automation. AgentCreator enables organizations to create sophisticated AI agents without coding, helping users transform workflows and deliver results efficiently.
Meet SnapLogic AgentCreator
SnapLogic’s Director of AI Product Management, Aaron Kesler, discussed common challenges with adopting GenAI. These challenges include:
- Prioritizing use cases
- Getting data AI-ready
- Ensuring safety and security
- Developing talent
Aaron highlighted how AgentCreator addresses these issues by connecting to existing data sources, making data AI-ready, and working autonomously to complete tasks safely and securely, even for those without specialized technical skills.
He also distinguished agents from more commonly known applications and assistants. AI applications can be tailored solutions and assistants may provide real-time information or support. Agents are more advanced, as autonomous systems capable of performing tasks, making decisions, and calling tools or functions to complete an objective or user request.
AgentCreator: A feature-rich tool
Imagine a no-code solution tailored to your business needs — powerful enough to effectively implement guardrails, enforce policies, and track agent performance. That’s SnapLogic’s AgentCreator in a nutshell, and it is truly redefining the AI landscape.
Regina Goodman, Global Director of Solutions Architecture for GenAI, showcased a live demonstration of the tool with an e-commerce use case. AgentCreator helped an online retailer, SellMart, quickly answer critical business questions, such as identifying top-performing products or applying discounts across product categories. The demo illustrated how AI agents can act autonomously, connect to multiple data sources, and seamlessly adapt to dynamic business conditions.
Solving customer needs
We also discussed many exciting real-world use cases, such as Independent Bank’s use of AI agents to handle IT help desk queries and Spirent’s automation of competitive intelligence gathering.
Aptia, a global provider of employee benefits and pension administration services, automated their PDF data extraction process for benefits and enrollments using SnapLogic’s intelligent document processing and automation. Another business used SnapLogic for faster fraud detection and month-end close, resulting in revenue recovery.
Throughout the session, we fielded many thought-provoking questions from the audience. Topics ranged from hosting LLMs on-premises to the security controls available within AgentCreator and ways to train and refine LLMs for specific business needs. We also explored the potential of using confidence scores to guide AI decision-making, showcasing the flexibility and robustness of our platform.
