SnapLogic Named “Cool Vendor” by Leading Analyst Firm
Vendors Selected for the “Cool Vendor” Report are Innovative, Impactful, and Intriguing
SAN MATEO, Calif. – Mar 19, 2009 – SnapLogic, an open source data integration company, announced today that top analyst firm Gartner, Inc. has named SnapLogic a “Cool Vendor” in the “Cool Vendors in Data Management and Integration, 2009” report by Mark A. Beyer, Donald Feinberg, Ted Friedman, and Eric Thoo. The Mar. 2009 report reflects on the trends in how data is being made persistent and integrated using emerging technologies and approaches.
“We’re thrilled to be named one of this year’s ‘Cool Vendors’,” said Mike Pittaro, co-founder, SnapLogic. “Our hybrid integration technology combines the power of traditional ETL with the flexibility of a Web-oriented architecture. In my opinion, this recognition from Gartner is a tremendous honor and validation of our mission and approach.”
SnapLogic’s open source data integration framework enables enterprises to integrate data on both sides of the enterprise firewall and to create custom integration solutions, including application integrations, enterprise mashups, and rich Internet applications (RIAs). SnapLogic’s extensions for Salesforce.com and SugarCRM provide drag-and-drop resources for integrating data from one SaaS application to other SaaS applications, behind-the-firewall applications, Web sites, and other data sources. In addition, SnapLogic can be easily and quickly deployed on-premise or in the cloud on Amazon EC2.
